Meet the Assistant Principal

Karen Murdoch

Welcome to Peaster High School! I am Karen Murdoch, and I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal.

As I begin my 26th year in education and my 5th year with Peaster ISD, I am more excited than ever to support our community. My journey in education includes 14 foundational years in the classroom as a high school Career and Technology teacher, followed by 12 rewarding years in school administration. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Communications and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Texas Permian Basin.

I firmly believe that true education extends far beyond academics; it is about equipping our students with the resilience, determination, and character needed to overcome life’s obstacles and continuously move forward. I look forward to partnering with our parents, staff, and the Peaster community to ensure our students have a fantastic, growth-filled year.
